The USS Momsen (DDG-92) is an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer in service with the United States Navy commissioned on Aug. 24, 2004. It has a length of 500 feet and carries 300 Navy personnel on board.

It was a truly amazing experience to see the tremendous capabilities of this crew and its leadership's dedication to Momsen- The Innovator. Following graduation from the Naval Academy in 1919, Ensign Momsen served on the battleships Oklahoma and Maryland before attending submarine training. His first submarine was USS O-13 where he was the Executive Officer.
